Devil’s Triangle: Convergence

Yes, it took ages, but good news… at last it’s here! Thanks to all those who have waited patiently, nagged, cajoled and encouraged. I hope you feel the end product was worth the wait. For the time being this story is only available in ebook format and can be purchased from amazon here: Devil’s Triangle: Convergence.
The story took a long time to get right and I owe a huge debt of thanks to Patrick Mahon for his keen insight into the story and for his patience and editorial notes. The story would have been a far poorer effort without his input. I do hope to eventually produce a short print run for those who desperately want this title in hard copy, but I will need to sell a reasonable number of ebook copies to help fund this if I’m to be able to keep the cover price the same as the previous titles, so please do read it and post reviews where you can.
So what’s next? Well I did pitch the first part of a new story to a couple of different publishers, but I have currently shelved the idea. The consensus was that the market would be too limited, as the story was aimed very differently from my previous works. Currently I’m working on two projects: Warrior Kids, the third book of which has just gone to print, and a new story with a working title of ‘The Griffin’s Ring’, which is back in familiar territory – a modern day mixture of fantasy and reality, this time written more aimed at teenagers. I’m going to complete this one before pitching it, as I really believe it is a story that will have wide appeal. It is also sufficiently different from anything else out there that I think it has a good chance of attracting a good publisher. I guess only time will tell.
