I won something!
by Mark Robson
January 11, 2012 No, it wasn’t a book award. I won a trophy for being ‘Club Person of the Year’ in Master Jackson White’s Tae Kwon Do Club. Given the other nominees, I feel most honoured to have been chosen as the winner. Either of the other two could easily have won it, but I get this lovely understated trophy to keep. I’ve decided to fill it with red wine and toast my success.
Next year will be most interesting on the Tae Kwon Do scene. I recently attended the TAGB Tae Kwon Do Instructor’s Course and have yet to hear if I have passed. Assuming I have, I hope to begin my own club in 2012. More news on that in due course. In the meantime, if you live in Northants and you fancy coming along to train with me, why not come along to Daventry Leisure Centre on a Wednesday or Friday night – 6-7pm for beginners and 7-8pm for the advanced class. Come and burn off some of that turkey – it’s a lot of fun.

Congratulations Mark. As for filling your trophy with red wine, I’ve got just the thing! ;-)

The 2006 Chateauneuf I started with was pretty good, but I’m always open to suggestions, Darren.
