Well done to your wife too then – especially after the car accident. I’m heading to Telford in two weeks – just 3 weeks after getting yellow belt (A grade and grading award :)) – not long to learn my new pattern! Cheers.

Hi Donna. Yes, my wife is now a black belt as well, though she did hers six months after me. Very proud of her, as she worked incredibly hard on the fitness despite suffering a huge amount of pain in the six months running up to the grading. A rear end shunt at a set of traffic lights in Coventry had left her with very nasty whiplash, making it much tougher for her to train.

Sorry – me again. Just saw your wife! How cool is that that you did this together. Did she also reach her black belt with you? I am training with my two daughters, 11 and 9. But not my husband (yet!).
