Firestorm makes it onto a Shortlist!

Excited? You bet I am! I just noticed that Dragon Orb: Firestorm has made the shortlist for the Explore Book Award 2009.
I also note that the teenage section was won last year by my good friend Sam Enthoven with his wonderful book: The Black Tattoo. That’s some act to follow!

I’m not sure about that yet, Joel. Given the competition, I won’t hold out too many hopes. There are some big names on that list.

Hey Congratulations!
I was in Germany in a bookshop last week and I saw a pile of ‘Imperial Spy’ and ‘Imperial Assassin’ on a table in German.

Thank you DragonLover. I’m glad you think it so. I’m excited as well.
Audio books would be great as well, Dan. But you have to be selling in vast quantities for the publishers to consider doing audio versions. I guess I’m just going to have to work on making my books more popular. I’m doing my best, but momentum for series is built by fans talking and spreading the word.
That is a hint! :-)

Mark, your books are incredible! i only need to read one more book (aurora) and ive read all of your books (for the time being, at least). your better than J.R.R. Tolkein! and thats a feat.

read the darkwearver sries in 3 days loving the dragon orb series on Shadow u r my fav author mark i like some of ur books more then some of the harry potter books
