Great to hear that someone's chilling out, Trish! I'm sure we'll meet again somewhere. Enjoy your time out and I look forwards to seeing you again sometime.

Hi Mark
Didn't spot your reply at the time -I'm so sorry!!
Life has calmed down a bit, so I will keep an eye on what you're up to and catch up with you sometime, somewhere this year.
I'm taking some time out from running stores this year, v restful!

Hi, Karen,

I've not got any signings lined up in Bristol at the moment, but I'm in the process of setting up a way of getting signed books through an online order system that will be able to take credit card payments. (At last!) For now, if you want to get signed books, please ring my local shop - The Games Vault on 01327 310541. The manager, Steve, is great and will be happy to sort you out with the books you need. He can accept card payments over the phone. I pop in there several times a week, so I'll be able to put messages in them before they are sent if you wish. There will be formal links from this site set up to a special order page on The Games Vault website very soon.

I hope this is useful. Thanks for stopping by.

My 10 year old son, Jay, has just finished The Forging of the Sword and is really looking forward to the rest of the series. I am looking forward to reading it myself. Our copy of The Forging of the Sword is signed by Mark and it would be brilliant to have the rest of the set signed. Will Mark be signing anywhere in the Bristol area in the near future.
Many thanks

Hi Trish,

Thanks for your message. I spoke with the Big Green Bookshop today and have agreed to go and spend a day in the store later in the year. Unfortunately I can't go down there at the moment as my programme is just totally frantic, so I'll miss the chance to get involved with them 'doing' Imperial Spy. A shame, but I've already written one book this year ... and have two more to finish before Christmas if I'm to stay on deadline! Also I have about 100 days booked in schools and stores already this year. I'm not getting a lot of sleep!

It's all great fun, though. Having a ball. Where are you now?

Hi Mark
SO pleased for you it's all happening these days: do you still make the occasional appearance in your flying gear? Wanted to give you a nod about my friends at Wood Green's Big Green Bookshop, who are 'doing' you with their brand new reading group for young people. They do a good (and famous) blog, and a nice cup of coffee if you've time to pop up there and join them on the day. Wave the flag for independents, perhaps.
Big hug anyway, and here's to continuing success - glad I was there to see the start.
cheers!
