Hello, Min-Hyuk Seo, and thanks for your comments about the Imperial books. I'm glad that you've enjoyed them so much. It is true that I've left some deliberate openings at the end of Imperial Traitor. I may wish to return to the story some day and write more books, but for now I'd like to turn to something different. I think the danger with series fiction is to write so many books that the story goes stale. At least this way, if I do decide to come back and write more Imperial books, I'll attack it with a fresh mind for spy stories.

I'm looking forwards to coming back to your school in September, so maybe we can discuss this further then. Happy New Year!

Hi, I am from King's College Junior school in Wimbledon. Your recent visit in October 2007 inspired me to read the Imperial trilogy. The books were fantanstic, especially how you built such tense moods and a thrilling structure of each book. I would like to congratulate you on thinking to start 'Dragon Orb' but I do not understand why you would not to choose to write more Imperial books as 'Imperial Traitor' still ends with four assasins escaping from the destruction of the Guild. But I still thank you for writing these fantastic books and I hope you at least think about the suggestion I gave you as I will thouroughly enjoy reading more of your books.
