Yes, Crissi, I was aware that the KLQ originated in New Zealand. Wayne is a star and you're quite right to be proud of him. He's doing fantastic work for children all over the world. Having been to many of the events in the UK, I feel sure that it will continue to spread around the world. Wayne continues to have an expanding vision for the Quiz, though I think he's going to have to clone himself if he's to continue to be quizmaster at every regional and national event!

Did you know that the Kids' Lit Quiz originated in New Zealand where Quizmaster Wayne Mills began the competition many years ago? The New Zealand final, and the World Final last year, is held at the Storylines Festival of New Zealand Children's Writers and Illustrators (see festival info at www.storylines.org.nz), held in June every year. We're very proud of Wayne, and the quiz (and our New Zealand team!)and how the quiz has spread across the world.
